Axyl Chair

Axyl is the result of Allermuir’s first collaboration with London based designer Benjamin Hubert and his studio, Layer. The simple, high performance collection comprises of a chair, a barstool and a table range. The intensive project including high tooling investment was completed in 2 years from sketch to full production.

The Axyl chair has a strong geometric design language that is entirely original yet draws on familiar references, such as the A-frame typology and a Mid-Century Danish wrap-around shell. The flexible system allows specifiers, designers and architects to create over 100 iterations by mixing and matching finishes, colors and elements.

Made entirely from recycled and recyclable materials; Axyl has been robustly engineered with a smart stacking structure and is efficiently lightweight. The collection is produced in volume at an affordable price for everyone.
